I specialise in medieval humour and late medieval French manuscript illumination (PhD, University of Edinburgh) and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I don’t reinvent medieval stories, I just show how sharp, irreverent and alive they’ve always been — in classrooms, on paper, on stage, and through The Court Jester podcast.
